The area is a mix of long-established homes, clubs and light industry, and the bills tend to rhyme.
Solar on, bill unchanged
A lot of homes here put panels on years ago and cannot work out why the bill did not drop. Usually the power is made at midday and used at night, and the supply charge never moved at all. That is fixable, and the fix is not always a battery.
Evening-heavy venues
Clubs, pubs and surf clubs trade hardest exactly when power costs the most. That shape is what makes storage stack up, and since 1 September NSW has an incentive built around it for commercial sites.
Coastal conditions
Salt air is hard on roof-mounted equipment. Worth asking anyone who quotes you what the mounting and inverter ratings are, and where the inverter is going to sit.
Older switchboards
Plenty of housing stock around the lake predates rooftop solar. Sometimes the switchboard needs work before anything goes on the roof, and that should be in the quote rather than a surprise.

- At home. Solar, a battery, or a charger for the car. The federal battery discount comes off the price before you pay, and it is set by your install date, not the day you sign.
- For a business or a club. Commercial solar, battery storage and EV charging, funded outright or under Total Care where we pay for the system and you pay for the power.
